About Our Bags
| myHERObag is dedicated to making the highest quality hand bags available; we're equality dedicated to a strong America both now and in the future. It naturally follows that we hand make all our bags in the United States, employing only those with the legal right to work in this country and paying them a living wage. This ensures that each member of the myHERObag team is as dedicated to the quality of our bags as we, as a company, are. And we back that up with our Unconditional Guarantee of Craftsmanship. |

But it doesn't stop with who makes our bags- but what those bags are made of.
We use thread made exclusively by Robison-Anton. A company that imports raw filament and processes and dyes their entire thread line in the United States. They also have a strong corporate policy for improving and maintaining the highest standards for environmental, health and safety considerations at their facilities. |
We also strive to include the most environmentally friendly and sustainable fabrics currently available, in our fabric line. Currently, that means the majority of our solid fabrics are made of 100% organic hemp canvas (grown in Europe, and not China, when available) or partially blended with organic cotton (grown in the US). We believe using organic products is not only better for the environment, but is better for your family. The fewer chemicals that are introduced in the making of products you bring into your home, the fewer harmful chemicals will make their way into contact with your children, family and friends, through your home environment.
We're currently working with several companies to expand our organic fabric offerings, and we hope to offer a full line of organic prints for the spring of '08. |
